Our Services
First, you need to obtain a medical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder from a medical professional – a neurologist, a clinical psychologist, or a developmental pediatrician.
Once we receive a medical diagnosis and insurance information from you, we verify the eligibility for services and begin authorization process.
We conduct comprehensive assessment of your child’s skills, skill deficits and behavior barriers. The assessment is completed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is conducted in a comfort of your home, and can help to identify potential causes of challenging behaviors, the child’s language and communication, social and self-help skills. Then, based on the results of this comprehensive assessment, a treatment plan tailored to specific needs of your child is developed.
Once ABA services are approved by your insurance, the fun part begins! A trained Behavior Therapist starts working one-on-one with your child and addressing their unique needs in developing language and communication, improving social interaction and play skills, and decreasing and replacing inappropriate behaviors.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervises and oversees the work of Behavior Technician. The BCBA develops the treatment goals, creates individualized behavior intervention plan, coordinates the services with your child’s school and other professionals, and provides family training.
Who knows kids’ needs better than their families? You are an active participant in your child’s treatment! You participate in selection of the treatment goals. You create a schedule that works for your family in collaboration with your team. Your BCBA will empower you with techniques to address them best! Through family training, you will learn how to use ABA techniques to support your child, encourage learning and deal with challenging behaviors.
